New Grade 10 11 & 12 Parent & Student Orientation Night

Each year, LCI welcomes hundreds of new Grade 9 students to the school.  We do a fantastic job of welcoming them, getting them orientated with building, helping them learn the ropes, and answering any questions they might have.

But what about the new Grade 10, 11, and 12’s that are joining us for the first time as well.  For you, there will be a Parent & Student orientation evening the night before your first day of school.  

- Tuesday, September 3rd 

- From 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm     

- In the LCI Learning Commons 

(To find the Learning Commons, locate the main Triple-Door Entrance on 5th Ave.  Once inside those doors, turn right and head down a few steps into the Learning Commons)

Students and Parents are both welcome to attend.  Students will be given their “New Student Package” containing their class timetable, locker info, assigned bus route, PowerSchool info, etc.  There will also be a short school tour so that students can find their way around the building the following day.  Parents are encouraged to attend as there will be a lot of important information for parents presented as well.  

At the very least, it will be a necessity for our new grade 10, 11 and 12 students to come and pick up their packages that evening, as they will need their timetables the very next day so they know where to go.
