Greg Sheen

I have had the privilege of pursuing a unique blend of passions and skills throughout my life. My academic journey began at BYU Idaho, where I earned a degree in Vocal Performance. I continued at the University of Lethbridge, where I earned both a Bachelor of Arts and a Bachelor of Education. I later achieved a Master’s in Educational Leadership from the University of Lethbridge. Along the way, I earned a Journeyman Ticket in Carpentry, combining my passion for craftsmanship with my career in education and taught construction for many years gaining the nickname the Singing Carpenter. Music has always been at the core of who I am. I have had the joy of performing with several ensembles, including the University Singers, Vox Musica, the Chinook Chamber Singers and Five Guys. Additionally, I have been fortunate enough to step into the world of musical theatre, performing in productions like Les Miserables and Pippen. My wife and I are blessed with six children and amazing grandkids, who always keep life interesting. We have a dog Kona, who is named after my favorite island, and a grumpy cat, Mittens. In my free time, I enjoy traveling, camping, boating, coaching, Diet coke and working on carpentry, tractors or cars.
I am excited to lead the LCI choirs and share my skills and love for music with my students.
