Geordan Olson
Dance
Geordan Olson is the director of the LCI Arts Academy Dance Program and also teaches the dance options in semester 2. Prior to this she lived in Toronto and worked as a choreographer, dance artist, rehabilitative pilates instructor and dance teacher. She holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance Performance from the Toronto Metropolitan School of Performing Arts as well as an education degree specializing in drama from the University of Lethbridge.
Geordan lived and worked as a dance artist in Toronto for 15 years before moving back to Lethbridge to raise her son.
During her time in Toronto, Geordan choreographed and performed for various festivals/shows, co-founded the Toronto dance company Alias Dance Project and received her ACTRA membership through working in film and television from 1997-2003.
Geordan is thrilled to be at LCI where she graduated in 1996!
