Course Requests in PowerSchool Open Until May 17th
All students were given instructions in advisor on May 7th on how to log into their Student PowerSchool Accounts to request courses for the next school year. PowerSchool will remain open until Friday, May 17th for students to make their course request. Few important items to note as students request courses for next year:
1) Students will not be able to request a course above their grade level (i.e. grade 10’s cannot select 20 level courses and grade 11’s cannot select 30 level courses). This is to ensure that all grade level students get their seats first. Requests for courses above grade level will have to be done manually by making the request directly with your grade level administrator.
2) PowerSchool will make ALL grade 10 students register for PE/CALM even if they plan on taking it over the summer through Victoria Park. We will manually remove students once they have completed PE/CALM over the summer
3) All grade 9 students should have received an email from teachers with their recommendations for grade 10 course requests. This should help grade 9’s in picking the correct stream (i.e. 10-1 or 10-2)
