Post Secondary Virtual Fair, Scholarship Info, and Financial Aid Presentation

Career Transitions is excited to offer the following 2 events:

Virtual Post-Secondary Fair

Thursday, October 27 - 5:30-7:00pm

Career Transitions has invited out-of-province institutions and vocational schools, along with the University of Lethbridge and Lethbridge College to attend a virtual post-secondary fair for our Southwestern Alberta students.  An updated list of registered institutions can be found on the Career Transitions website: https://www.careersteps.ca/post-secondary-fair/

This virtual event will be hosted on Microsoft Teams, with each institution answering questions and sharing information in their own breakout room.  Students and parents will be able to move between rooms, download resources, and engage with recruiters.  Although it will not be a high-tech event, we are hopeful that students will be able to connect with schools fairly easily, gathering the information they need to help make some post-secondary decisions.

Interested students/parents are required to pre-register for the event.

Those registered will receive a link to the event via email on October 26.  In order to track attendance, we ask that each student register individually whenever possible.  If you are hosting at your school, please report the number of attendees you are expecting so we can track this important information.

Scholarship and Financial Aid Presentations

Tuesday, November 3 or Thursday, November 5 at 7:00pm

Career Transitions, in partnership with the University of Lethbridge and Lethbridge College are pleased to host 2 virtual evenings featuring information about scholarships and financial aid at the post-secondary level.  There will be a generic presentation by Career Transitions, followed by an opportunity for students/parents to go to breakout rooms with the University of Lethbridge and Lethbridge College to ask specific questions.  Staff will be available until 8:30 to answer questions.  This presentation is being offered twice, however each night will feature the same presentation - there is no need to attend both evenings.

Interested students/parents need to pre-register for the event.
