Graduation Ceremonies

Graduation weekend is almost here, and we couldn’t be more excited to celebrate our incredible students! 

Please note that parking at the VisitLethbridge.Com Area will be free for the duration of graduation this weekend!

Friday, May 23^rd - Convocation

• 2:00pm – Graduands arrive at the VisitLethbridge.com Arena and find/arrive at Section Q at 2:15pm
• 2:30pm – Class photo taken in Section Q
• 2:35pm – Graduands find advisor on lower concourse/families find seating in stands
• 3:00pm – Convocation ceremony begins
• 6:00pm – Convocation ceremony concludes

Saturday, May 24^th – Grand March

• 5:30pm – Graduates arrive in formal wear and gather behind the stage on the arena floor
• 6:00pm – Grand March begins
• 7:30pm – One parent/family member dances with graduates on arena floor. There will be three dances. Spectators need to remain in the stands.

Saturday, May 24^th – Dance

• 8:00pm – Graduates who have purchased tickets for the dance will go upstairs to the Conference Centre
• 8:30pm – Refreshments served
• 10:00pm – Dance concludes

Dry Grad Information:

• 11pm - Dry Grad begins at the University of Lethbridge for those who have purchased tickets
• 4am - Dry Grad concludes.

Please note:

• All guests are welcome to watch celebrations from the designated viewing areas (regular arena seating). 
• No tickets are required to attend; rush seating only.
• Only graduates and LCI staff will gather on the arena floor. 
• Following the Grand March, one parent/family member and their graduate will be invited to the floor for the first three dances.
