Science is everywhere; it surrounds us and is us.  It is discovery and a sense of wonder about why and how.  Science courses provide an opportunity to explore connections among science, technologies and societal issues to make science understandable.  Common themes throughout all science courses are:  energy, matter, change, diversity, systems and equilibrium.

The LCI Science program is student centred, interactive and involves a variety of activities from experiments and labs to internet activities and simulations.
