Math Applied 

APPLIED MATH 20 (5 Credits)
(Prerequisite: Applied Math 10 )

Approaches used in this course are primarily numerical and geometrical. Emphasis is placed on the application of math rather than on precise math theory. Topics include consumer math, systems of equations, linear programming, functions, properties of circles and analyzing graphs.

Students need to complete a 20 level math class to be eligible for a High School Diploma.

Applied Math 30 ( 5 Credits)
(Prerequisite: Applied Math 20)

The topics investigated in Applied Math 30 include number operations, patterns and relations, shape and space, statistics and probability. Fifty percent of the final grade is determined by a Diploma Examination. Problem solving is integrated into each of the topics. As well, there is an emphasis on the use of technology.
