Food is one of our most basic needs. Not only is food nourishing, it is comforting, stimulating, creative, entertaining and is a true basic life skill. Food plays a major role in our family, career and community. Through foods, students can develop basic skills and attitudes which can be transferable and career specific. |

FASHION OR FOOD STUDENTS
You may enroll in two Fashion or Foods courses at the same level either in the same semester or year, eg: you might be registered in Fashion 30 in Semester I and get 6 credits. You have the option of registering for Fashion 30 again in Semester II and earn another 6 credits. [You would take 12 different strands of Fashion Units to earn your credits] Another student might take Foods 30 for 6 credits in Module 10 and also register in Foods 30 in Module 40 for another 6 credits in the same semester. |
