Dear Grad Parents,
The first meeting for Dry Grad 2018 was held on Thursday, Jan 25. Committees were loosely organized and a brief description of Dry Grad was given. For those unfamiliar with Dry Grad, it is a non-alcoholic event and it will be held after the graduation ceremonies on May 26 from 11pm-4am at the University of Lethbridge. It is organized by the parents and supported by the school. At the University, the grads will have access to the 3 gyms, the climbing wall, the pool and there will be various other activities such as laser tag, ping pong and food.
There is a need for volunteers on all committees. Specifically, there is a need for a committee head for a media area and games area. If you have questions or an interest/ talent in either of these areas, please email. If you have an idea for other activities you would like to be in charge of, please bring those ideas to our next meeting. In addition, the opportunity to sign up for other committees will be available to you at our next meeting which will be held on Thursday, March 1 at 7:30pm in the LCI Library.
If you have a business or are personally willing to make a monetary donation to LCI Dry Grad, donations would be very appreciated. If you would like to make a donation, please contact Shannon Leavitt at email@example.com. Food donations are also very helpful for that evening. If you would like to make a food donation or have a connection for a food donation, please contact LeighAnn Evans at firstname.lastname@example.org.
To assist in costs associated with Dry Grad, a virtual bottle drive has been set up at Ability Resource Centre Bottle Depot downtown by the library and on the northside. When you donate your cans or bottles, please ask for donations to go to LCI Dry Grad.
Lastly, a Facebook page has been set up to help get information out about Dry Grad. It is called LCI Dry Grad 2018. It is a Closed Group, but you can request to join by clicking on the "Join” prompt. Relevant info will be posted here.
We hope to see you on March 1! :)

*Grade 11 Parent Rep to organize Grade 10/11 Parents for “Security” from 8 -10 pm and to help with take down.
*$90 for Convocation
*$25 for Grand March/Dance (Grads)
*Dance Guests - $25 – must be approved by administration
